Irish nationalist leader Cllr Patrick Quinlan has given a stirring speech in Dublin. One for posterity and the Irish diaspora:
"We have a situation in Ireland where, to be able to get on the property ladder, to be even entertained by the banks to get a mortgage, you have to have in excess of one hundred grand. It is going to dictate that both parents have to go out and work," he said.
"What is happening in Ireland is that children are being put into care facilities, often against the wishes of the parent. I know plenty of women who would happily stay at home and mind their kids, absolutely no problem at all.
"Society as a whole needs to take a different approach to Mothers and the role that they provide inside the home.
"It should be put to the absolute top of the most important job in the country- quite literally raising the next generation of Irish children to be good, productive citizens.
"But that is being totally hindered, on purpose I will add, by design, by this system, by this Government, to force children into these facilities- is what I am going to call them.
"Basically setting situations in motion where both parents are forced to go to work because it is the only economic decision they can make to try and provide some sort of future for their family.
"It is also dictating the amount that Irish people have, which is why the birth rate is in absolute collapse and free fall.
"The National Party is currently in the process of producing an 'Irish Families First' policy which I would encourage the public to keep an eye on the website for updates on such."
Separately, Cllr Quinlan stated:
"There is only one party in this chamber that is calling out the problem as it is- Government initiated mass immigration, a systematic replacement of our people in real time.
"Not a single one of them want to talk about it. I do- I love talking about it. Because guess what? It is the only real thing that actually matters, because once we become a minority, nothing else matters.
"We can debate all day long, but if we become a minority, nothing else matters. What is the point? Ireland is its people and without its people, Ireland does not exist."

Let's talk stats....
Ireland transitioned from having the highest fertility rates in Europe during the mid 20th Century to a contemporary period of significant decline, with the Total Period Fertility Rate falling to 1.5 as of early 2025.
In 2012, EU chief Peter Sutherland stated the EU "should do its best to undermine" the "homogeneity" of its member states.
Fine Gael politician Simon Coveney then stated: " I propose that Ireland should, as part of the Ireland 2040 planning framework, put in place a plan to prepare for an island of 10 million people."
Between April 2014 and April 2024, approximately 960,800 people immigrated to Ireland (CSO).
